Ella was all smiles as we waited for the doctor to come and check her out. After her fever and vomiting had passed, she had a whole day of being "fine". A full 36 hours later, she woke up with hives all over her scalp and face, a needle-point rash on her back and tummy and a burn-rash in her diaper area. I decided to have her checked out, just because there were so many different things going on with her body. The doctor confirmed that it was "just a virus" and that she would be fine in another day or two. What a relief!
