Pools out for Summer

We used our garage sale money to fund our swimming pool project. Now that Jaycoby is a little older, it will be so nice to have a pool at the house for him to play in. The set up took longer than we'd anticipated (doesn't it always work out that way). We didn't read the directions, so our first attempt was unsuccessful. We had a 1 1/2 ft. deep pool that was oval shaped, instead of round. Oops!
Mike worked on the pool all of Sunday evening. Then we had to do it all again on Monday.
Jaycoby busied himself with the rocks on the RV pad, while we worked on the pool....
then he had to go in time out after throwing some of the rocks at our neighbors house. BIG no no!
The pool is 12'x36" and perfect Jaycoby-size. We went out for our first dip today and the water hits him mid-belly. He powered through for about 40 minutes, but the shivering got to be too much. We'll have to try again later. Right now, the water is freezing! I'm just happy it only comes above my knees. Poor kid!
