Camping at Beverly Beach

We went with our friends (Matt, Laura & Madeline Holt) to Beverly Beach for a night. We had a nice dinner that Laura brought- yummy chicken skewers, salad & garlic bread and then LOTS of smores :). We were woken up in the night by some noisy racoons in our camp site. They make some pretty nasty growling sounds, let me tell ya. Mike and Matt were able to scare them off eventually.

I was excited for this new style of camping (having the pick-up right there, bathrooms, showers, etc.), since we would have lots more room for blankets, clothes, bed mats and food. Mike and I were definitely a lot more comfortable in our tent this time around, but neither one of us slept much in the night (if at all). We can't figure out how to get much rest when we're in the "great outdoors". And those racoons certainly didn't help :).

This morning we got up pretty early and got to cook breakfast on our new camper stove. It was all pretty tasty! Then we all went for a walk on the beach and for a quick trip to the outlet stores. It was a fun trip to the beach!
