Ella- 10 months old

Little Bip is 10 months old!
*She got two teeth this past month. They are still working their way through, but you can definitely see white on her lower-gumline.
*She is sitting up by herself. She has been a little behind in this area, because sitting up is not something she loves to do. She CAN do it, but she tires quickly and would rather be standing or jumping.
*She is saying "dada". The talking is starting to finally click. Up until now, she hadn't made any sound besides "ahhhhhh", but she is finally making "gaga" and "dada" noises.
*She constantly chews on her chubby, little fingers. She gets little red marks because of doing this so much.
*She loves her elephant that plays The Temptations song "Sugarpie Honey Bunch" and her "Ella Dog". She will sit and play with both of these musical toys and rock side to side. She loves rockin' to her music.
*She has started to make a goofy grin a lot. It is hard to describe, but she will open her mouth wide, flare her nostrils and smile with her eyes. It is hilarious! She looks like she is surprised, scared, excited and ready to scream, all at the same time.
*She shakes her head back and forth for "no" when we ask her questions. She does it the most when we say "can you say dada?". She will shake her head no and grin.
*She is eating great. So far veggies are her favorite (grean beans and peas....atta girl), but she loves her bananas and applesauce too. If she doesn't like it, she will let us know. One thing she hasn't warmed up to are cheerios or "puffs". She flares her nostrils and pushes them right out of her mouth. Oh well.
*I know it is a blessing to have a baby that sleeps well through the night, so I need to recognize each month that this actually happens. It may not last forever. Ella regularly goes to bed between 7:30 and 8 p.m. and sleeps through until 6:30-7 a.m. Can I get an AMEN?
