My sister, Melinda, has been growing her hair out for a while now, so that she could make a donation to Locks of Love. In case you're not familiar, Locks of Love is an organization that takes human-hair donations in order to make wigs for children who are seriously ill and have lost their hair (usually cancer patients). It did not surprise me at all when Melinda told me this is why she was growing out her hair. She is always thinking of others. I was happy I got to be a tiny part of the process.

The donation has to be 10+ inches.
It took a while to cut the pony tail off. Melinda has some seriously thick hair.
No more long hair :-(
