It has become our annual tradition to have a baking day around Christmas time. My mom and sister came over on Saturday and we baked from 10 am- 4 pm. It's always more fun than work. Most everything turned out, but my Granny's caramel corn did not :-(. Guess I'll have to try again next year. We made peanut butter cookies, cranberry bars, fudge, Christmas snowballs, hazelnut-cocoa balls, rice krispy treats, oatmeal-butterscotch chip cookies, etc. Phew! There was no shortage of sugar, that's for sure.
